Puff in Boots

This is Cheese Puff standing up. He's quite good at it and usually does it when he wants to see what's going on. :)

Bathtub Boy

Dusky has no idea that this is a bathtub but enjoys lying in it very much. Maybe it's because it's cooler than being outside? :)

Focus...focus...!!

This is Dusky using the litter box. He loves to use the litter box wall to press against and stand tall so his poopoo doesn't touch him. That doesn't stop the last piece of poop from sticking to his furry bum though!

Strawberry lovin'

Dusky and Cheese Puff love to eat strawberries! Dusky is much better at it by biting and enjoying the sweet juices whereas Cheese Puff is a pure licker.  Enjoy!

Basket of fluff

A few weeks ago, I brought home a fruit basket from the office and Dusky took a liking to it right away. He went right in, making himself cozy in his new bed.

 Now that Dusky is a little bigger, he alternates sleeping in the basket with crawling out to stretch himself fully, and Cheese Puff also takes his turn in the basket (he's such a follower! :)

Last night, Dusky overturned the basket to make a pseudo-tent.

Baby Cheese Puff

This is Cheese Puff as a lil' young lad. You can already see how stumpy his legs are, which means he's going to grow up to be a robust, strong cat! I also love how poofy his cheeks are.

Cheese Puff was the 2nd born kitten of a litter of 3, and both his brother and sister are silver tabbies. They used to play a lot together, supervised by their ginger older brother, Calico mother and silver father.

When we first got him, we didn't know what to call him. Possible names included:

-Pumpkin Head
-Orange Peel
-Willem van Oranje (Dutch!)
-Angelina Jolie (more on that later)
-many others I can't recall now

Finally we settled on Cheese Puff Long-Legs aka. Cheezy because he was such a cute orange fluffball with extremely long legs. He's not really responding to it yet...but then again, he doesn't really respond to much!
